Get to Know Me

Hi, I’m Sara — founder of The Neuro Advantage, certified ADHD Coach, facilitator, and proud neurodivergent woman.

I was misdiagnosed as a child and didn’t receive a proper ADHD diagnosis until I was 29. Once I began treatment, more symptoms began to surface—ones that didn’t fully align with ADHD alone. For over a year, I was treated for anxiety and depression. Eventually, through open conversations with my doctor and therapist, I explored a deeper explanation: autism. That clarity helped me understand that I live with AuDHD—a combined presentation of ADHD and autism—and for the first time, my experiences started to make sense.

Navigating the corporate world undiagnosed was incredibly challenging. I pushed myself to network, mask, and adapt—but often found myself overstimulated, misunderstood, and overlooked. Communication didn’t always land. Opportunities passed me by. I eventually spiraled into burnout, trying to succeed in systems that simply weren’t built for neurodivergent minds. That journey of self-advocacy led me here.

As a subject matter expert, facilitator, and performance coach, I led and mentored teams, developed inclusive training programs, and supported people through both professional and personal transitions. I also contributed to my organization’s Abilities Network, an internal committee designed to raise awareness about visible and invisible disabilities—including neurodivergence. I shared my experiences with masking, ADHD, and communication barriers, helping spark needed conversations across departments.
The deeper I leaned into coaching, the more I realized: this wasn’t just work—it was my purpose.

Why I Coach

I coach because I know how it feels to be misread, misdiagnosed, and disconnected from your own sense of self. I’ve lived the burnout, the confusion, the identity loss—and I’ve worked my way through it. I don’t believe people need to be "fixed." I believe they need to be understood.

That’s why I’ve dedicated my work to helping others—especially professionals and families—navigate life with a better understanding of neurodiversity, and more importantly, of themselves.

I hold a certification as an ADHD Coach, and I’m currently working toward my Life Coaching and Neuroscience Coaching certifications to deepen the support I offer. I also bring professional training in Change Management, Core Strengths, and extensive experience in leadership, communication, and soft skills development.

My coaching style is rooted in curiosity, emotional safety, and structure. I help clients explore the big picture, then break it down into strategies that work for their brain and their life. Whether we work through writing, virtual calls, or in-person support, my goal is the same: to meet you where you’re at, and help you move toward where you want to be—with compassion, clarity, and confidence.

Whether you're advocating for yourself, supporting a loved one, or creating a more inclusive workplace—I'm here to help.

Neurodiversity isn’t a weakness. With the right support, it becomes your greatest advantage.
